I grew up in a Christian family and, starting at 18, became a pastor’s kid. However, my true conversion came at the age of 25. I first heard about Young Life in El Salvador, but it wasn’t until I moved to Spain that I had close contact with its team and volunteers. I have been living in Spain for almost four years, two of which I served as a youth leader in a church in Madrid.

In October 2023, I felt a strong call from God to go beyond the four walls of the church and reach those who do not know Him. I began praying intensely, seeking clarity about God’s purpose for my life. On December 31 of that year, while reflecting on my goals for 2024, I included Young Life on my list of dreams.

In April 2024, I was invited to a Club meeting, which I eagerly accepted. That moment marked the beginning of my service as a volunteer. In June 2024, I was offered the opportunity to work full-time with Young Life. After much prayer, reflection, and seeking advice, I decided to take the step. In order to work full-time for Young Life, I must now raise the necessary resources that I can continue to carry out the ministry to which God has called me and to share His love with those who need it most.
