I was born in Nicaragua. I lived my adolescence in a chaotic way without God and without any interest in Him, but God had other plans for me. During this time, some volunteers with Young Life Nicaragua invited me to a Young Life camp, and that is where I truly came to know God which led me to serve with Young Life Nicaragua in 2019.
After moving to Madrid, Spain in 2021, I met the Young Life Madrid team and began serving as a volunteer in 2022. God has continued to open doors for me to serve with Young Life here. I have always loved the methodology of this ministry because of how intentional we can be with teenagers. Because of my personal testimony, I believe that every teenager should get to experience what I experienced through Young Life.
As a former camper and volunteer, I have personally experienced the impact that this ministry can have on a life in a very significant way. For this reason, I feel that God is calling me to take the next step and to serve full-time with Young Life. As I work to raise the support I need to sustain me full-time in this mission, I would ask that you would prayerfully consider joining me and together, we can change the lives of teenagers in Spain.
